Rickety Bridge | Luke & Lindsay
Luke and Lindsay’s gorgeous Rickety Bridge wedding in Franschhoek
Lindsay is originally from Cape Town but moved up to Johannesburg to be with her “love” Luke. They got engaged in Franschhoek and decided to have their wedding in Franschhoek too. They chose the beautiful Rickety Bridge Winery as their venue. The weather forecast said rain for the day but it seemed to stay away for the ceremony and a little afterwards.
I had only met Lindsay via email, so the first time I met her in person was on her wedding day. When I arrived at the Manor House all the bridesmaids were ready (doesn’t happen often) and Lindsay was also ready to step into her dress. I loved the bridesmaids dresses, especially the colours and the girls all looked stunning. I couldn’t wait for Lindsay to put her dress on, I knew she would look beautiful on all the photos. The ceremony was lovely and my favourite was “Reecy” the ring bearer. A busy little boy who kept his mom and mostly his dad on his toes for about 3 hrs, lol. He did a brilliant job carrying the rings and I loved the expression on his face on one of the photo’s, priceless!
I took the bridal party around the venue to do some photos and after we had finished we headed back to the reception so the guests and the couple could tuck into some yummy food!
Thank you so much Luke & Lindsay for choosing me to be your photographer and for trusting me to capture your special day 🙂
A big thank you to Kathleen Chen for assisting me on the day ! Once again Nadia and her team from 4 Every Event, did an amazing job.
